DDB China promotes Jenny Liu to group planning director

SHANGHAI - DDB China Group has promoted Jenny Liu (pictured) to group planning director to further drive growth across its planning capabilities.

DDB China promotes Jenny Liu to group planning director

Liu will report directly to DDB Greater China's president & CEO, Dick van Motman. She will be responsible for all business, creative and digital planning for the group.

A British-born Hong Kong Chinese, Liu has earned more than five years of retail sales experience in the UK ranging from C&A, Tesco, Harrods, Space NK before clocking more than 12 years in strategic planning, business development, and cross-media strategy in China. 

Her role as senior strategic planner at D'Arcy Publicis Ad-Link from 2002 to 2004 was the first, followed by a four-year stint as strategic planning director at Publicis China.

She has been with DDB Group for over five years since 2007 working across international clients such as Johnson & Johnson (Neutrogena, Clean & Clear), Lipton, PepsiCo (Tropicana, Gatorade, Quaker), Tourism Australia and Electrolux.
