Darrin Lin takes over as creative director at Publicis Modem

SINGAPORE – Darrin Lin has joined Publicis Modem as creative director.

“Darrin has great energy and brings with him a unique experience as a returning Singaporean.  We are delighted to have him on board,” said Sam Cassels, CEO of Publicis Singapore.

 

As owner of his own agency for the last two years, Lin's client experience includes working with the likes of Adidas, Banana Republic, The Economist, ESPN, MTV, Pepsi and Volvo among others.

His work has garnered multiple international and local awards such as the coveted British D&AD, The One Show, Art Directors Club, Cannes, The Clios, LIAA, AICP and twice for Best in Show.

Recently, he helped to create and brand a smartphone messenger and location app across Asia. For the last few months, he has partnered with OgilvyOne on various initiatives in Singapore.

"Coming back to Asia and now joining the wonderful Publicis team in this pivotal role is one of the most exciting moments of my career," said Lin.

"Creativity and innovation go hand in hand. Our canvas now stretches further and within the right environment we can translate our ideas across any medium. As bandwidth in Asia grows, so will technology in its role to the consumer. I'm here to uphold digital integration into everyday emphasis and culture," he added.
