CNBC appoints VP advertising sales

SINGAPORE - CNBC has appointed Jane Wang (pictured) as vice-president of advertising sales for China.

Reporting to Toby Hayward, senior vice-president of the division for Asia-Pacific, Wang will work closely with partner company Shanghai Media Group to promote the network and the China Business News channel.

Prior to joining CNBC, she was the vice-president of sponsorship and advertising sales and the general manager of Viacom Asia in Shanghai.
