Clear Channel Singapore names Adam Butterworth as CEO
Butterworth's appointment is effective in Q2 this year. He steps into the position from his previous role as sales director for Adshel - a joint-venture between Clear Channel and APN News and Media - in Australia.

Butterworth has been with the Clear Channel group for over 20 years including a stint as sales director at their operation in the UK.

In his new role he will report to Mark Thewlis, regional president Asia-Pacific, who said: “Adam brings a vast knowledge of the Clear Channel business to his new role and the appointment is a reflection of his talent, leadership and experience.”

Butterworth added: “Being involved in the growth and success of Adshel in Australia and New Zealand has been incredibly rewarding and I look forward to ride on the fantastic momentum that the Singapore team has achieved in the interim and the business opportunities that await me.”

Last December, Clear Channel Singapore announced its managing director Telly Tan was leaving the company.
