Cisco appoints Text 100 for PR in Australia, New Zealand
According to the agency, Text 100 is charged with overseeing Cisco’s two consumer product groups: Linksys home networking and the Flip Video camera, which Text 100 has managed since last year.

Text 100’s licensed partner in Auckland, Pursuit PR, has additionally been appointed to manage Cisco Consumer Products in New Zealand.

“Text 100 built some really strong partnerships during the launch phase of Flip Video, and these partnerships presented strong opportunities for Cisco Consumer Products in 2010. We wanted to leverage that momentum across our portfolio of consumer products,” Scott Jackson, marketing manager for Cisco Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand, said of the appointment.

The win adds to Text 100’s portfolio of tech clients. This year, Text 100 Australia won the retainer work for Yahoo 7 and Macquarie Telecom, and projects for Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Across the region, Text 100 additionally works with clients including Adobe, Epsilon, IBM, Lenovo, Mitsubishi Electric, Optus and Symantec.
