Broadcast in Singapore via multi-channel cable TV operator StarHub since last month, CBN is aimed at multinational corporations who are interested in China, China enterprises in Singapore, investors, Chinese nationals working in Singapore and Singaporeans based in China.

CBN is a dedicated news channel offering live news and financial updates from China and exclusive interviews with academics, political leaders and businessmen, as well as multi-platform 360-degree access on TV, internet and mobile.

The channel is complimentary for all StarHub TV subscribers. It can be accessed through smart devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

Tan Tong Hai, chief operating offer at StarHub, said the cable TV operator hopes to work with businesses in Singapore to organise business talks, seminars and events.

“More than half a million households in Singapore are able to catch the channel on our platform,” he said. “This translates into an excellent avenue for advertisers as the channel reaches out to the right target audience.”

He added that advertisers would be able to maximise their advertising dollar when the channels reaches  viewers from both China and Singapore.

CBN is owned by Shanghai Media Group, while it's exclusive overseas partner, MyChinaChannel (MCC), assists with logistics and production.
