As Canon products are already well known in the market, SMG’s task is to strengthen its brand reputation as a socially responsible and environmentally friendly company, and explore new healthy lifestyle marketing opportunities, tapping into its ongoing ‘Canon smile campaign’, which was launched in late 2008.
The first SMG-activated PR event will be a four-week dance marathon in August, which Canon is co-hosting.
Dentsu Hong Kong is currently involved in some creative and media buying projects for Canon.
