2018 Cannes contenders: 'Chop-Chop' by Amber Shanghai

Humorous, cruel or deliciously straight to the point? Ammeloo's chopper ad has critics taking notice.

2018 Cannes contenders: 'Chop-Chop' by Amber Shanghai
We asked creative leaders from across the region choose the work they expect (or hope) to see winning at Cannes Lions this year. See all this year's Cannes contenders.

Contender: 'Chop Chop'
Agency: Amber Communications, Shanghai
Client: Ammeloo

Nominated by:

Ng Tian It, CCO, McCann Worldgroup China

Erick Rosa, chief creative officer, Publicis One Japan:

This print campaign is crafted with the same precision of the product it advertises. It’s increasingly hard to grab the consumer by the eyeballs these days, especially when it comes to print. And this campaign manages to do that. You can’t help but look at every inch and pixel to admire the work that went into it.
