Cruz will partner with fellow ACD Meggy de Guzman to fill in the shoes of Roxas-Ocampo. Together, they will lead an integrated team of art directors, copywriters, web designers and community managers in developing campaigns for some of BBDO Guerrero's largest clients.

Roxas-Ocampo decided to leave the agency after ten years in the advertising industry to take a step back and reasses her career.

Cruz joined the agency as an art director and over the past three years she worked on digital campaign for clients including Pepsi, Dole and Aboitiz Power. She was also the creative mind behind the Proximity Philippines website which she drew by hand.

Meanwhile, de Guzman has spent the past five years at the agency, initially joining as a trainee and will take on her new responsibilites at the end of the month.

"Corey is a rare talent who combines creative intelligence with digital savvy. She has shown impressive dedication in seeing through some breakthrough projects over the past 12 months. We are all excited to see her succeed in her new role," commented David Guerrero, chairman and chief creative officer at BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines.
