BBC WorldWide releases CBeebies app for iPhone and iPad

ASIA PACIFIC- Preschoolers around the world will never have to depart with their favourite CBeebies characters again as a result of the newly released app from BBC Worldwide – CBeebies On The Go.

BBC Worldwide has recently launched a new app for its popular children's channel CBeebies.

The app, developed by Tag apps, aims to be entertaining with new games and activities. Games such as picture games and matching pairs as well as short clips from popular shows have been included in the application. In addition, the app's simple touch controls designed specifically for young fingers helps to make learning through play more interactive and enjoyable.

The Director of CBeebies Investment at BBC Worldwide Channels, Henrietta Hurford-Jones said that “CBeebies On The Go is a delightful accompaniment to the CBeebies channel. Kids all over the world share a natural curiosity and sense of fun, so the app is a wonderful way to make new discoveries with familiar friends.”

The app is free and available for download from the App StoreSM. It can be downloaded for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and South Korea.
