The overall advertising spend for ASK Group is said to be US$1.4 million. The incumbent media agency was Media Direction.

ASK Group did not call an official pitch before appointing MEC. Salil Vaidya, head of marketing for the ASK Group said: “Given the challenges we face in reaching our prospects who are some of India’s richest individuals and families, we needed a partner who can also offer unconventional and media neutral customer engagement solutions.”

“The company [ASK Group] has aggressive growth plans for the future and we look forward to adding value through our unique Active Engagement approach. We look forward to exciting times ahead,” said Manjiri Kamat, managing partner and GM of MEC Mumbai and Bengaluru.

"Connecting with the very niche audience is perhaps the biggest task that the media team will face , so identifying the TA and how to connect with them in their busy daily schedule in the most relevant and interactive manner, will be the key task for us," Kamat continues.
