Arby's embraces nemesis Jon Stewart upon his farewell

When your brand is a distant "also-ran" in the fast-food game, you really have nothing to lose, and attention from a comedian/cultural force like The Daily Show's Jon Stewart—even the most negative attention imaginable—is an opportunity.

Stewart, who is ending his long hosting run this week, made a years-long running gag out of criticizing Arby's—with most of the jokes calling into question the origins of the brand's meats and insinuating that its foods cause illness.

Kudos to the brand (and undoubtedly its agency advisors) for making the most of Stewart's '#JonVoyage' this week by airing a TVC (first video below) and contributing a video thatran on the show during Stewart's final week (second video below).
