Agile Property contracts OMD as media agency in China

OMD won the business in May, according to industry sources. Agile Property is the agency's first real estate client in South China, according to Danny Xu, managing director of OMD Guangzhou.

Agile is one of China's major real estate developers operating in the mid- to high-end segment. Its core business is in residential property development and operation.

It has tradtionally advertised mainly in print and outdoor but ventured into digital with a micromovie for its 20th anniversary last year.

As of July 2013, the group has 85 projects in 32 cities and districts in China. Guangdong province is its largest market, accounting for around 43 per cent of the company's land bank.
