AB InBev calls creative AOR pitch in China

A senior executive at a 4A agency in Shanghai disclosed to Campaign Asia-Pacific that the agency received an invitation for the creative AOR pitch, which is scheduled for September.

The source told Campaign that the client underwent management changes in its regional and China teams three months ago.

The pitch will focus on the Harbin Beer brand, rather than the more expensive Budweiser, because of Harbin's high sales volume in North China.

As reported on 22 August, SMG and MediaCom are competing for the client’s media business in China as part of a global media pitch review.
