2018 Cannes contenders: 'First dance' by TBWA Sydney
We asked creative leaders from across the region choose the work they expect (or hope) to see winning at Cannes Lions this year. See all this year's Cannes contenders.

Contender: First dance
Agency: TBWA Sydney
Client: Apple iPhone

Nominated by:

Anthony Moss, ECD, WhiteGREY Melbourne:

A simple yet very convincing product demonstration, in a perfectly timed and perfectly crafted wrapper. Released at a time that other brands were focused on Australia’s Marriage Equality vote, this spot went straight for the implications of the vote. The story captures the heart while the imagery convinces the head. It feels like a winner in Film Craft.
