Silas Lewis-Meilus signs on as business director with OMD International

SINGAPORE - OMD International, OMD’s specialist unit that manages multinational client assignments, has brought in Silas Lewis-Meilus as Business Director.

He joins from Mindshare London, where he was most recently a managing partner for four years. There, he handled accounts such as American Express and Motorola. Prior to this, Lewis-Meilus was working at Mindshare, New York as an associate planning director on its American Express account.

Lewis-Meilus will be based in Singapore, effective immediately. He will be responsible for driving "best-in-class" media solutions for key clients around the region.

Torie Henderson, CEO, Omnicom Media Group, Singapore, said OMD International was expanding rapidly following new business wins and remit expansions. "Silas’s expertise in leading international accounts will enhance our service offering, enable us to continuously raise the bar of excellence, and deliver tangible benefits to our client," she said. "Silas is a fantastic addition to the OMD International team and it’s great to have him on board.”

Lewis-Meilus added that he was looking forward to tackling the OMD International challenge, particularly across Asia. “OMD’s strength in winning new business and delivering excellent work for clients drew my interest to the brand," he said. "I am excited at the opportunity to work with the world-class team at OMD International and apply my skills to some of the most iconic global brands. I am truly looking forward to this new challenge.”
