Puns and twerking panda get asses moving to new Ikea

From Malaysia: ‘Get cheras to Cheras’ by BBH Asia Pacific for Ikea

Puns and twerking panda get asses moving to new Ikea

Ad Nut now knows a new use for those un-pronounceable words that grace the Ikea catalogue: inserting them into song lyrics!

This music video encouraging people to get ‘cher-as to Cheras’ for the grand opening of a new Ikea store is chock full of colour and inanimate objects being bopped around by people in background-matching bodysuits.

There was happy bopping along to the beat and amusement at the puny extravaganza until the twerking panda made its fuzzy entrance.

To recover, Ad Nut will now curl up in a bed at Ikea—with shoes on.

[Ad Nut might have asked whether the agency was inspired by this recent viral video in which a guy seriously annoyed his (very patient) girlfriend with way too many puns based on Ikea product names. -Ed.]
