Havas Worldwide Siren (Siren) was founded as a boutique digital PR agency in Singapore named Siren Communications. It was acquired by the Havas Group in November 2011 and renamed Euro RSCG Siren. The agency was rebranded Havas WW Siren when parent agency Euro RSCG was renamed Havas Worldwide

Siren Indonesia will be housed with sister agency Havas AdWork in Indonesia.

Havas AdWork will house the sister specialist agency Havas Worldwide Siren to provide integrated communication offerings spanning creative, digital, PR and social.

Euvine Winarni, managing director for Havas AdWork, noted that the launch of Havas Worldwide Siren in its office allows the agency to work as an integrated unit to develop creative business ideas across disciplines.

Siren Indonesia started last week with just one employee, but has already begun pitching for new business. It aims to focus on integrated PR, earned media and marketing communications.

The agency started its first overseas office in Kuala Lumpur early this year.

Karen Flynn (pictured), managing director and principal consultant at Havas Worldwide Siren, noted that both Malaysia and Indonesia hold great potential for content PR marketing initiatives, as the market in Singapore is saturated.

“Potentially, we will open an office in Vietnam this year,” she told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “The country has robust PR activities and much money goes into digital and strategic PR as well as for social-media content."
