They are led by the promotion of regional director Ava Lawler (pictured) to the newly-created position of global consultancy director.
Lawler will remain based in Shanghai, with her previous role being assumed by current senior vice-president and Asia-Pacific sales and marketing director Rowan Benecke. Benecke will oversee Text’s 11 Asian offices, reporting directly to global chief executive officer Aedhmar Hynes.
Jeremy Woolf, meanwhile, has been promoted from the role of Hong Kong managing consultant to become global practice lead for peer media.
He also takes on the operational responsibilities for Text’s Greater China offices.
The agency has also hired Simon Taylor as managing consultant in Hong Kong.
In addition, Anne Costello shifts from her client services director position to become regional sales and marketing director.
Singapore-based Shafaat Hussein has been appointed regional client services director. The agency has also secured two new accounts in China. PPS.TV, an online TV provider that has been awarded the rights to stream the Olympics live, has selected Text 100 to build its profile among international media and investors.
In addition, Text 100 Beijing has won Mio - a GPS technology brand - as a retained client, based around the company’s sponsorship of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
