Australian telecommunications company Telstra and its agencies Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and +61 have landed a Grand Prix in Film Craft for its “Better network” ad in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025.

The work – which Campaign highlighted as one of its Cannes Contenders – is a series of 26 ads directed by Jeff Low through Revolver for Biscuit Filmworks. They showcase a variety of Australian wildlife brought to life via stop-motion.

Ali Ali, president of the Film Craft jury and co-founder and film director at Good People Films, described the campaign as "simple and deeply human".

"There are 26 of these little gems, and the writing is all very carefully considered," he said. "We loved it instantly in this AI craze that we're all going through. [It was a] breath of fresh air to find something that's handmade with love over time."

Telstra ended up with 5 Film Craft awards in total, taking home two more Golds, a Silver and a Bronze as two other campaigns, 'Donkey' and 'The Shoemaker' were awarded.
