XM-Asia appoints Rueben Anthony as general manager for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - XM-Asia has appointed Rueben Anthony (pictured) as general manager of XM-JWT in Malaysia.

Anthony had previously set up the Kuala Lumpur office in 2007 and has spent the last three and a half years with XM-Asia in Singapore as account director before being promoted to new business director.

In his new role, he is charged with building stronger relationships with the agency's existing and new clients while helping the digital agency become the leader in its field.

On his appointment, Anthony said: "With a team bent on results, I look forward to further strengthen XM-JWT’s presence in Malaysia. XM-JWT is an agency that will continue to hinge success on meaningful results while pushing the envelope on creativity and technology."

According to Paul Soon, XM’s regional head, Anthony’s appointment is in line with the agency’s strategy to expand in the region. “Our strategy is to be focused and compelling in the markets where we see the best potential – 2010 will see the growth of Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.”
