Both Yau (pictured) and Chi came on board on 10 October.

Reported last September, Yau resigned from his position as managing director of Zenith Media Eastern China, to take up a new position as new media CEO of the Modern Media Group in Shanghai. He joined Zenith Media China in 1997, and again in 2008.

In these two newly created managing director roles at VivaKi Exchange China, Yau will lead the digital media, OOH Media and content marketing divisions, while Lin, previously general manager for OOH business at Vivaki Exchange, will be responsible for radio, new business development and regional expansion.

Both Yau and Lin will report to Dylan He, who was promoted to CEO of VivaKi China earlier this year. He remains directly in charge of TV and print media businesses.

Meanwhile, ZenithOptimedia has hired Ka Wa Chi as its new managing director for Eastern China

Chi was most recently marketing director - media (food and beverage) of PepsiCo China, a position held for over three years. In addition to this client side role, she was previously managing director of Mindshare Guangzhou for over two years, and also worked for nealy five years at Zenith Media as its Guangzhou office general manager from 2001 to 2006.

Reported last week, Publicis veteran Andras Vigh has been named country chair for the network's Vivaki Greater China operation. Vigh replaces Yifei Li, who was elevated earlier this year to chief strategic development officer for Publicis Groupe in China, as reported last August.
