Starcom Singapore hires digital head
In his new role, he will lead the agency’s digital capabilities through the formation of a Digital Influence Group. The group will work to boost digital knowledge and skills across the business.

Loon returns to Starcom which he left in 2007. He spent the last two years overseeing new business and accounts for Sony, Brother International, Sony Pictures and Standard Chartered Bank at Qais.

“Today’s vision and challenge for Starcom is for our talents to be master-craftsmen in multiple areas, and to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving environment in order to remain cutting-edge, while being a profitable business,” said Gan Boon Guan, CEO, Starcom Singapore.

Loon added: “We understand the burden and constrains of relying on an individual or team to drive new media practices in any organisation. We have thus established an eco-system to nurture an environment of collaborative growth and long-term learning for our staff and clients so as to remain as forward-thinkers.”
