Lim will report to Mykim Chikli, ZenithOptimedia China CEO. She was at the agency earlier in her career from 1998 to 2002 in Indonesia, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Lim has more than 20 years of media experience, with the past three years as CEO of OMD China. Prior to that, she worked at Mindshare in various roles for eight years in Beijing, Guangzhou, Japan and Malaysia. "I feel confident that my experience will fit in well with the ZenithOptimedia culture,” she said.

Separately, current Zenith China managing director Stephen Farquhar will relocate to New York, in part for family reasons. Farquhar has been in his role since 2012.
