Sheraton Macau calls regional media pitch

An off-the-record agency source told Campaign Asia-Pacific that the brand issued invitations for a credential meeting in December, adding that the pitch is in the early stages.

Maxus is the incumbent agency for Sheraton Macau, while MEC currently holds the global media account for Starwood competitor Marriott.

Another agency excutive, whose agency was not invited to the pitch, commented that he is unsure which agencies have been invited, as quite a few 4A agencies are already working with hotel clients.

Sheraton Macau Hotel in Cotai Central has close to 4,000 rooms and is the largest hotel in the former Portuguese enclave.
