Before joining Ink, Yeo was head of corporate marketing and ancillary revenue at Tiger Airways, one of Ink's clients.

In his new role, Yeo is tasked with driving Ink's 'one process, many platforms' approach, which aims to unify print and mobile applications to reduce costs for airlines while also building new relationships with clients.

“The airline media landscape is constantly evolving, and there is a greater emphasis now than ever before for their media strategy not just to be aligned, but to be tied into a clear ancillary revenue strategy,” said Yeo.

Because of this, the 'one process, many platforms' approach has "struck a chord" within the industry, noted Jeffrey O’Rourke, chief executive at Ink. “To meet this demand, we are growing our business development and client-services teams. Derek brings a real understanding of the needs of Asian airlines and their desire to develop holistic media strategies."

Ink currently works with more than 100 airlines worldwide producing trade media, consumer media, targeted advertising and revenue-generating mobile applications.
