Famous film director Tim Burton has started an interactive story on Twitter and is asking the public to help him continue the plot through their daily tweets.

Tim Burton’s Cadavre Exquis on Twitter is a story started by a single tweet: “Stainboy, using his obvious expertise, was called in to investigate mysterious glowing goo on the gallery floor…”

Burton is relying on fellow Twitterers to help him complete the story from this week until 6 December. The best tweet of the day is added to continue the story line currently showing nine entries and ending with: “The goo pulled him closer and closer. He suddenly realized why the goo looked strangely familiar…”

Stainboy is a character in Burton’s book titled The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy
