Digital Media Awards shortlists announced

ASIA-PACIFIC - 134 entries have been shortlisted for this year's Digital Media Awards Asia. The winners will be announced on 9 November.

The shortlists for fifth annual Digital Media Awards Asia was drawn from a total of 814 entries received. They will compete across 10 sector awards, and 13 media and execution categories.

The 134 finalists represent 10 markets from around the region, including Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and Mainland China, as well as 71 individual agencies.

Tribal DDB Singapore leads the pack with 10 nominations across all categories. Ogilvy Shanghai and the combined Proximity China and Goodstein & Partners earned nine and eight nominations respectively.

Among the most nominated campaigns are Tribal DDB Hong Kong's 'The escape' for Intel, and Proximity China / Goodstein & Partners' "The people's car project' for Volkswagen Group China,

'The Escape' earned nominations in the technology and telecoms and the business-to-consumer sector awards, and will also compete in the Media Innovation and Gaming categories, 'The people's car project' meanwhile, has been shortlisted for the Media Innovation award, best integrated campaign, best online marketing, best viral marketing, and for best website prize.
