CNBC to provide capital market analysis for CCTV

BEIJING – CNBC, the North America-based business news channel, has announced that it will soon start providing business content, including international market analysis and financial news updates for China Central Television (CCTV).

CNBC to provide capital market analysis for CCTV

The CNBC market updates will be anchored out of CNBC’s Asia headquarters in Singapore as well as CCTV’s headquarters in Beijing.

The segment will include weekly updates from CNBC’s bureaus around Asia Pacific and will be broadcast on CCTV's business channel CCTV2 in English with Chinese subtitles to 400 million households across China.

“We are excited about this collaboration with CCTV. It not only enhances CNBC’s presence in China and extends our reach into another 400 million homes, but reinforces our long standing strategy of being available to viewers and users whenever and wherever possible,” said Satpal Brainch, president and managing director of CNBC in Asia Pacific.
