Chi Tran promoted to regional CTO role at OgilvyOne

HONG KONG - OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific has promoted Chi Tran to vice-president and regional chief technology officer from his previous post as Singapore CTO.

Tran will continue to be based in Singapore and will report to Jerry Smith, president OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific. 

Eddy Chan has been promoted from his role as director of solutions to Tran's old post of CTO for Singapore.  

In his new role, Tran is tasked with building OgilvyOne's technology credentials across the region by building a culture where technology is embedded in the solutions provided by the agency. He is also responsible for improving the way the agency works with technology and developing new services in consulting as well as executions, Smith said. 

“OgilvyOne needs to obsess about four things: The customer, ideas, technology and data," Smith added. “Our job is to create remarkable brand experiences that build valuable relationships, and we need to understand and use technology to make this happen.”
