Carat bolsters regional team leadership

ASIA-PACIFIC - Jacqueline Pavich has joined Aegis Media Hong Kong as its new regional business director, managing up to 12 of Carat’s key regional media accounts.

Pavich (pictured) replaces James Smyllie who has been internally transferred to Aegis' Singapore office as regional business director, seeking out new business in the Asia-Pacific region.

Pavich will be based in Hong Kong and report to Nicole Linguey, who was appointed director of integrated business in March. She expects to and travel extensively in the region to further nuture and strengthen the relationships of Aegis with key regional accounts, including Pernod Ricard, Mattel, The Peninsular Hotel, Société Général, and the Korea Tourism Organisation.

Pavich boasts extensive media agency experience in the US and Asia Pacific. She spent six years in both Singapore and Malaysia with Starcom, where she managed a portfolio of regional assignments including Samsung Electronics, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Marina Bay Sands. 

She was also responsible for driving digital innovation and new media pilot initiatives, working with key media partners and solution providers.

Before Starcom, Pavich worked in New York for five years, with Foote, Cone & Belding, as a senior media planner.
