Reporting to Akiro Suzuki, director of integrated communication services division, Lim will primarily be responsible for aligning the agency's media offerings for Dentsu’s key clients.

Dentsu manages clients such as Marina Bay Sands, Canon, Toyota, Panasonic, Hitachi, IE Singapore, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Trade & Industry.

“Jimmy’s all-rounded knowledge, plus his experience in integrating traditional media with new media and content, offers more for our clients especially those with a regional, cross cultural focus,” said Anthony Kang, president and CEO of Dentsu Singapore.

Lim takes over the role vacated by Phyllis Adrienne Choe, who has assumed the role of human resources director at the agency.

Prior to his four-year stint in Mindshare Singapore, his previous agency experience include Leo Burnett Malaysia, Leo Burnett Regional and Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore.

“After a great run with Mindshare, I was intrigued with the new challenge of being part of Dentsu's regional expansion plans, which I regard as a enterprising startup,” Lim commented on the appointment. “That fuels my entrepreneurial spirit as I thrive when I can create new legacies.”
