McCann staff members pay tribute to old office, gangster style

HONG KONG - McCann Hong Kong paid tribute to its home of 30 years, the Sunning Plaza, with a video homage to a 1980s Hong Kong gangster film 'A Better Tomorrow' (英雄本色) that famously featured the building's entrance.

McCann was one of the first tenants in the I.M. Pei-designed Sunning Plaza, located in Causeway Bay, when it opened 30 years ago. In "Heroic Exit" (above), both new McCann staffers and 'old boys' recreate a well-known scene from the 1986 film, A Better Tomorrow, that used the building as a setting. Sunning Plaza is now being demolished, and McCann has moved into its new office in Hysan Plaza.
