A spokeswoman at Bates 141 confirmed Pank will be leaving to pursue other interests.

Previously a business director with Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R in London before relocating to the city-state in 2007, Pank was promoted to general manager of the Singapore office in 2009 following the departure of Craig Mapleston and was elevated to his current role in January this year.

Pank’s departure follows a series of management changes at the WPP network which saw Southeast Asia regional director Peter Skalberg leave in February this year and more recently Asia-Pacific CEO Digby Richards who resigned in May after four years at the helm of Bates 141.

Frederique Covington will now be heading the Singapore office following a promotion. Covington has been appointed managing partner for Southeast Asia and head of strategy for Asia, joining Sonal Dabral who has become managing partner for India and head of creative for Asia.

David Meredith, managing partner of talent and culture for Asia, and Adrian Huen, managing partner of commercial and finance for Asia, were also named to form a revamped senior  management team for Bates 141 in the region.
