Waldren has over 20 years' advertising experience including managing his own brand content business called Abundant Media.

He started his career in 1989 with JWT Melbourne and has worked at Lintas, FCB and JWT Detroit.

In 2003, he joined Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, initially as executive director and subsequently rose to become managing director. He started Abundant Media four years later.

On his appointment, Paul Gardner, group chairman of Grey Group Australia and New Zealand, said: “Luke is a Melbourne boy, with a great deal of traditional and new media experience across many categories. We are incredibly fortunate to have him agree to leave his own successful business and rejoin the industry he really loves.”

In January, Paul Worboys joined JayGrey as managing partner to team up with founding creative partner, Jay Furby.
