Creative duo Bhatt and Bhat launch Scarecrow Communications

NEW DELHI - India's creative gurus Manish Bhatt and Raghu Bhat have re-entered the ad industry with the grand opening of Scarecrow Communications.

Creative duo Bhatt and Bhat launch Scarecrow Communications
Bhatt and Bhat resigned from their posts as senior vice-president and executive creative director respectively at Contract Advertising in India towards the end of last year. Along with Joy Sengupta, ex-vice president of account management at Contract, the three ad men will open the doors of Scarecrow Communications in Mumbai on 9 February.

Scarecrow Communications is a nationwide agency backed by managing director of Concept Group, Vivek Suchanti. Concept Group is said to be the biggest Indian financial network agency.

Both Bhatt and Bhat commented, "We want to do work that is 'immortal'. By 'immortal', we mean stuff that people remember, talk about and spread virally days, months or years after it appeared."

"We love technology... new media... We love change. We will always look to employ the latest tools to solve traditional business problems. At the same time, we don't want to imitate Lehmann Brothers either. So while our thinking will be as lavish as Donald Trump, we will watch expenses like Paul Getty," they added.

A group art show themed 'scarecrows' featuring fifteen painters from across the country will support the office opening.
