Qais appoints MD ahead of digital upturn

SINGAPORE - Qais Consulting, a Singapore-based interactive agency, has promoted Mark Newton (pictured) to the position of managing director.

In a statement, the company said the move was part of a restructuring initiative to prepare for “the coming growth in the digital sector”.

Newton will be responsible for managing the agency’s “top and bottom line”, and for the development of all client relationships. He will report to chief executive Tripti Lochan.

“We feel that the digital industry in Asia is set for a tremendous growth period,” said Lochan in the statement, adding that the agency will be looking to expand into other Asian markets over the course of the year.

Qais has also expanded its team with the hiring of Nick Pan as projects director, and Carolina Lam as business manager.
