Savelson joins OgilvyOne

HONG KONG - David Savelson (pictured), former assistant director, SCMP.com for three years, has recently jumped ship to OgilvyOne Hong Kong as principal consultant.

Savelson joins OgilvyOne
He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Sean Rach, managing director, OgilvyOne Hong Kong.

Savelson is replacing Stephanie Seakins, who was in the positon for two years and has moved onto Prudential Corporation Asia.

A Yale graduate and fluent in Mandarin, Savelson has 18 years experience in operations and strategic marketing with General Electric, Shell, Freemarkets, and SCMP.com, among others.

“During this economic downturn, his wealth of experience in business consulting and strategy development is valuable in helping our clients maximise their profits from acquiring and growing their customer base across a range of channels,” said Sean Rach, managing director, OgilvyOne Hong Kong.

Meanwhile Stan Cheung will be relocating from OgilvyOne Beijing to Hong Kong in early March, where he has held a parallel role, director of data and analytics, working primarily with IBM. Prior to joining Ogilvy, he worked in Wunderman, Hong Kong.

“We are pleased to have Savelson and Cheung in our growing team of 100 consultants in the region, which helps to bring value to our clients through the combination of strategy, creative, media, and data analytics, which are important for clients to measure the effectiveness of our works,” he added.

OgilvyOne’s client portfolio includes American Express, Cisco, Coca-Cola, DHL, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, Nestile, SAP, and Unilever, among others.
