Smartphone shifts: Xiaomi surpasses Samsung in China, Samsung takes Indonesia

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has surpassed Samsung to become the top-selling mainland phone brand, according to market researcher Canalys (as reported today by the Wall Street Journal).
