Domlija (pictured) most recently served as managing director of key international accounts at Mindshare Shanghai, working with clients including L'Oréal, Nike, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kimberly Clark, Volvo, Zegna and Rolex.

Commenting on the appointment, Michael Zhang, president of MediaCom China, said because Domlija had been leading many major client teams, he has a "very useful perspective" across multiple disciplines to ensure that the agency's end-product is well integrated.

Domlija will take on the communications planning, digital, content marketing and business science services at MediaCom, which he said was a company "unconstrained by the boundaries of conventional media thinking".

He has 17 years of experience in the advertising and media industry. He started his career in London in 1995 and moved to China in 2008.
