Mike Busby has been named regional director for North Asia. Busby, formerly at Ogilvy, will be based in Tokyo. Kuala Lumpur based Nicky Lim, Grey Group’s CEO, Malaysia and Thailand, has been picked as regional director for Asean. Lim is tasked with growing the business in the region.

Daniel Comar, the former regional creative head for OgilvyAction will now be executive creative director at Geometry Global. He will move from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, as clients are asking for regional global leadership in Singapore, the company said.

John Goodman (pictured), CEO of Geometry Global, said the appointments would be effective toward the end of August. According to Goodman, the newly merged entity promises much better geographic coverage. While G2 is strong in Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, OgilvyAction’s strengths are in Japan, Singapore and Greater China. “This ensures our business is solid in every major Asian country,” Goodman added.

Jayesh Vyas is Geometry Global’s CFO while Gareth Ellen is the company’s regional planning director.
