The new management team will work closely on all aspects of CWIA Hong Kong office and agency management, including business growth and team development. They will also be charged with increasing team capabilities, and with developing the client base in key practice areas. These include hospitality, professional services, art and design, digital and corporate.

Chan has been with the agency since 2005 as account executive, and has climbed up the corporate ladder, serving clients such as Pernod Ricard and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, as well as several fashion brands.

Huckfield joined the agency in 2009 and has been involved with campaigns for MGM Hospitality, IP Global, Guinness, Rolls Royce and eFinancialCareers, she was previously senior consultant at Weber Shandwick Hong Kong.

“Jeff and Louise have been senior members of our team for many years and are experienced PR professionals with a plethora of PR experience both in-house and on the agency side,” says Field. “The pair has been working in partnership for some time and their skill sets are extremely complementary."

Geodis Wilson, Guinness, ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan and Rolls Royce are some of the recent accounts that Huckfield and Chan helped to win and renewed for the agency.

Meanwhile Sarah Woodhouse, group MD of the agency since 2005, has resigned at the end of August, and who is returning to live her home country in the UK.

Fiona Ng, MD of Impact Asia China, resigned last April and joined a US marketing company’s China start-up in July.

In November 2011, impactasia was acquired by global communications agency Cohn & Wolfe to form CWIA, which has over 80 employees in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

CWIA’s regional client porfortlio includes Mandarin Oriental, Rolls Royce and Softel. The agency's client base has typically been hospitality and tourism but it has taken steps to expand into other areas. Recent additions in Hong Kong include Pernod Ricard in Hong Kong. It has worked on the Hong Kong Art Fair for the past five years.
