Korean electronics brand LG has called a pitch for its digital business. The pitch is believed to be handled out of Korea and will roll out globally.

AKQA, OgilvyOne and two other agencies are believed to be pitching for the business.

Earlier this month, the company recently appointed Bates 141 its creative AOR in Taiwan, while Publicis Modem scooped its China digital business earlier this year.

LG’s marketing division has suffered a shakeup as part of the entire management restructure, seeing the disbandment of the Chief Marketing Office, and the renaming of Global Marketing Division as the Global Marketing Office, which will promote LG Brand and drive sales.

The newly-instated new CEO Koo Bon-joon is a founding family member, and is expected to establish the Business Innovation Office, which will elevate company core competencies such as Six Sigma, services, and procurement.
