Stephanie Bell to step down as CEO of GroupM Thailand

BANGKOK - Stephanie Bell (pictured), CEO for GroupM Thailand, is to step down from her leadership role with effect from 23 July.

Bell joined MindShare in 2002. Initially appointed as the MD of the Philippines office, she moved to Thailandin 2004 to work on the Unilever business and develop other brand content. She was promoted to MD role in Jan 2006 and in July 2008, became the CEO, based out of the group's Bangkok offices.

 "Over recent months and weeks we have been in discussion with Stephanie regarding her future career in the group and opportunities for progression. Stephanie however decided that she would like to take a break from work and has therefore tendered her resignation, which I have accepted," said Mark Patterson, GroupM Asia-Pacific CEO.

According to Patterson, a successor has been identified. However, for contractual reasons he was unable to give any further details.

"Stephanie has done a great job in Thailand and in other parts of the region in the last few years. We recognise that, applaud her for her work and of course wish her well," Patterson added.
