Global CEO of Synovate Chedore to depart

GLOBAL - Synovate's global CEO Adrian Chedore has retired after more than nine years with the company.

According to a regional spokeswoman for the research firm, Robert Philpott, Synovate’s global COO, will replace Chedore who departs as “part of his retirement plan”.

Chedore is based in Hong Kong and Philpott is based in Chicago. According to the spokeswoman, because Synovate has no global headquarters, Philpott is not expected to transfer from Chicago.

It is understood, Chedore will depart on 1 September and Philpott will immediately take over as global CEO.

No other operational changes are expected to take place globally or within Asia-Pacific.

According to his online resume, prior to his time at Synovate, Chedore has worked in the market research field since 1979. He was CEO of Asia Market Intelligence and also spent time at Frank Small & Associates and AGB McNair.
