Christian Kimberley-Bowen, former global lead, agency development at X, has joined Pinterest as senior global agency lead for Omnicom. Kimberley-Bowen was at X for only 11 months, having joined the social platform in February, 2024.

Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, he said: “I must, however, close an unforgettable chapter at X, where I had the honour to stand alongside Linda Yaccarino [X chief executive], Monique Pintarelli [head of Americas], Gregory Owens [VP of ad sales] and team during a unique moment in the Global Town Square’s history. I will forever remain indebted to this talented team for an invaluable experience and proud of what we achieved this year, through heart, resilience and Grok!”

Before X, Kimberley-Bowen worked with agencies at Meta, first as agency development lead for EMEA, then as director of agency development.

When he left this year to join X, he had spent more than nine years at Meta.

In his new role, Kimberley-Bowen will be based in London and work on a team alongside fellow senior global agency lead Ben Buxton, who is also a former Meta employee.

Soniya Monga, former head of US agency partnerships, was also appointed to lead Pinterest’s agency sales team this week as vice-president of global agency sales.

Based in New York, she will lead Pinterest’s relationships with advertising agencies across the globe, working with key agency decision-makers, developing strategic partnerships and maximising the adoption of Pinterest's full funnel suite of ad products.

Monga will report to Pinterest chief revenue officer Bill Watkins.

Referring to her appointment, Watkins said: “Soniya has a stellar record of growing agency business from the ground up through her relationships, strategic vision, product and technical acumen and operational excellence. We can’t wait to feel the impact of her incredible leadership capabilities as we strengthen our agency business.”
