PITCH UPDATE: Sony Electronics Singapore is looking for a PR agency while Singapore government ministries and boards are on the hunt for various comms and creative services.

Sony Electronics Singapore has called for a pitch for a PR agency. The incumbent is BlueCurrent, part of the Omnicom Group and a sister agency to FleishmanHillard.

The remit covers key products under different consumer business groups within Sony Electronics Singapore and includes integrated PR strategy, strategic counsel, and traditional and social-media relations aimed at the media, influencers, and consumers. The contract is for one year and renewable. Agencies will have to register their interest for the pitch by January 27.

In other pitch-related news, several government bodies in Singapore are on the lookout for communications services and have issued tenders on the official GeBiz website.

The Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth has invited tenders for public relations consultancy and media communications services with the pitch closing on February 24.

The People’s Association is looking for social-media channel management for its PAssion card. The mandate includes developing media buying strategies and overseeing media purchases; management of contests and giveaways on social media channels to drive outreach and engagement and creating short format reels. The contract is for two years with the option to be extended for another year. The pitch closes on February 4.

The Ministry of Transport is also looking for social media services for a period of one year with the option to exercise yearly for up to two more years. The pitch closes on February 13.

The National Heritage Board is looking for content marketing and social-media management services. The remit includes an audit of Facebook and Instagram for the NHB; social media and digital campaigns; and other creative and design services. The duration of the engagement is two years with the option to extend for another two years. The pitch closes on February 14.

The Ministry of Manpower is looking for creative services for social media platforms. The contract is for one year with the option to extend for two years. The pitch closes on February 14.

The National Library Board is looking for social-media management services which includes regular content audits and proposals for new content series for its social media channels; content development and creation of posts on Facebook and Instagram; creation of short video reels; and development and execution of campaigns to drive its social media targets. The pitch closes on January 31.  

Finally, the Urban Redevelopment Authority is looking for design, curation, and production for the Draft Master Plan 2025 Exhibition. The pitch closes on February 7.
