Ogilvy's Krishnan Menon joins RGA as SEA managing director

Krishnan Menon, previously Ogilvy’s president of experience for Asia, has taken on a new role as managing director at RGA. In this capacity, Menon will oversee operations in RGA’s offices in Singapore and Indonesia, collaborating with the regional team across strategy, creative, and technology.

He will continue to be based in Singapore and report to APAC chief executive Michael Titshall.

Menon’s extensive career spans over 26 years, with two stints at Ogilvy. Most recently, he served as the head of experience for Asia, a role he assumed in January 2023. Prior to that, Menon held various positions since 1997, culminating in his leadership of Ogilvy Action in South India in 2007. His agency experience extends to Merkle and Wunderman Thompson (now VML) in key regional roles. Throughout his journey, Menon collaborated with renowned brands such as Unilever, Coca-Cola, BOSE, Nestle, AIA, HSBC, and The Singapore Government, leveraging data to craft customer-centric experiences.

On the appointment, APAC CEO Titshall said: “Krishnan is a proven strategic marketer with the ability to combine creativity and technology that drives clients businesses forward. His human approach to creative innovation makes him the perfect fit for leading RGA’s next era across Southeast Asia. We’re thrilled to have someone of his calibre join us to help clients grow in new ways.”

Krishnan added: “It’s been great to meet such a diverse group of incredibly smart people at RGA. And it’s clear that the cross-cultural nature of the team is deliberate. It is reflected in the attitudes and the innovative and creative work that can only come from diverse minds working seamlessly together.”
