Mediahub global CEO John Moore departs

John Moore, global chief executive of Mediahub, is departing the agency after 27 years.

Moore joined Mediahub Global in 1997 as group media director, becoming global president in 2015 and global CEO in 2019.

In a LinkedIn post Mediahub Worldwide said: “After 35-plus incredible years in this business, our global CEO, John Moore, is stepping down this spring.

“At his heart, John is a builder, and he leaves an incredible legacy of growth, from co-creating Mediahub in 2007 on the north shore of Boston, to becoming a global powerhouse and fierce competitor on every continent.”

Mediahub, which is owned by Interpublic Group, joined the IPG Mediabrands network in 2023, alongside Initiative and UM.

At the time the agency employed more than 1,000 people across major hubs in the US, UK and Australia.

Mediahub launched in 2005 as part of creative agency Mullen, which joined with Lowe to form MullenLowe Group in 2015. Mediahub was spun out of MullenLowe in 2019.

Ross Jenkins is CEO of EMEA and Asia-Pacific at Mediahub.

Moore’s departure comes after a deal was announced in which Omnicom will acquire IPG to form the world’s biggest agency group.
