LVMH picks Ruder Finn for China brands

SHANGHAI - Luxury group LVMH has contracted public relations firm Ruder Finn to handle PR for several of its liquor brands in China.

The public relations retainer binds Ruder Finn with the brand for a year and a half. Ruder Finn's Shanghai and Guangzhou branch was awarded the account following a pitch that included local and international agencies.

Expiring at the end of 2009, the contract charges the company with handling the PR of cognac brand Hennessy X.O. and other Hennessy Prestige brands; Glenmorangie Whisky; and Veuve Clicquot and Krug champagnes in southern China.
